"Check Out That Gixxer Dude! Wait... A BURGMAN??"

"See that there youngster on that fancy Gixxer crotch rocket? Those things are too dangerous! I got me a nice ol' Burgman to ride! Wait... That IS a Burgman!!"

Yep, thats right. This is Suzuki's attempt to bridge the gap between two completely different riders. Keep in mind that this is only a concept model thus far. No certain word yet of Suzuki taking a crack at producing any of these sexy things.

There really isn't any difference between the engine in the Burgamn 400 Sport and the regular Burgman 400. The Sport concept has the GSX-R inspired paint scheme, mirriors and exhaust. The upper tail piece is revamped, along with a low-cut, smoke windscreen and chopped front fender. The stickier tires rely on wave rotors (mostly for looks) that provide better brake cooling for more performance. The total package is smoothed out: some are softer lines and some have been sharpened as well. The clever "B" for "Burgman" is in place where the "GSX-R" would normally go. If this pretty baby can acquire a few more performance and handling upgrades it may be able to hang with some mid-level sport bikes in the corners! It wont be long before we see this thing scraping a twelve o'clock wheelie bar at a stunt show or runnin' down a funny bike at the drag track!

Keep up with this Performance Cycle blog post to find out more about the future of this novel concept.
